Information, Conditions and Limited Warranty LEADERFINS
Our advice for making your choice:
The choice of fin type depends on your use.
- Traditional standard plastic fins:
• Versatile up to a depth of 20 meters
• Heavy, less nervous and less durable than fiber or carbon
• Light budget
- Fiberglass fins:
• More flexible than carbon
• Less nervous than carbon
• Rather for long distances
• Lighter than plastic
• Medium budget
- Carbon fins (recommended for more than 20 meters)
• Better performance (muscle energy return)
• Good flexibility
• Nervousness and rigidity
• Way of swimming different from traditional fins
• Fragile out of water
• High budget
• Slipper transmits force to the sail
• The spars channel the water along the sail
Exception for the 14-day right of withdrawal:
Personalized products, from a legal point of view, do not benefit from the right of withdrawal.
For this reason, our customers cannot benefit from the right of withdrawal on the range of Leaderfins fins that are made to order.
However, on an exceptional basis, we accept returns for an exchange for a different footsize.
Before your order we remain at your disposal for any purchasing advice.
Conditions of receipt:
Upon receipt of the product, check the integrity of the packaging.
If damage is noted, open the package in the presence of the postal employee.
In the event of damage to the product, the postman is required to issue a signed damage declaration and collect the package.

Usage tips :
Wet the slippers (Mono fin) thoroughly so that the water can penetrate inside.
Wet your feet (or neoprene socks) with water.
Use soap if you are not using slippers.
When swimming with a single fin:
Use the appropriate swimming style "dolphin" legs work synchronously.
Enter the water correctly.
Legs should push off the wall synchronously.
Be careful, the powerful impact of the mono fin against the starting platform or the powerful impact against the water can cause damage to the blade of the product.
It is not recommended:
- Jump into the water with fins
- To push the surface with fins.
- To hit sharp and hard objects with fins
Warranty conditions:
When there is a lack of conformity, Calunea offers the consumer the replacement of the good or its repair.
The choice depends on the consumer, except when the latter generates disproportionate costs compared to the second.
Repair & replacement:
Reimbursement, subject to compliance with the terms and conditions of this limited warranty.
Warranty Period: The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase.
The warranty period is 1 year.
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear such as scratches or abrasions.
- Defects caused by rough handling, poor maintenance, neglect, crushing of the product.
- Defects and damage resulting from use contrary to the recommendations for use of the product. Excessive stretching of the rubber parts of the product.
- Excessive curvature of carbon fiber or fiberglass blades.
For single fins:
- Damage related to technically incorrect execution (e.g. legs pushing on the pool wall asynchronously in single fin)
- Damage associated with a bad swimming style for the product
- Damage related to technically incorrect execution of the start (e.g. powerful impact of the mono fin against the starting platform or powerful impact against the water)
This limited warranty ceases to be valid in the following cases:
- Self-repair or modification of the product.
- The product has been exposed to chemicals
- Heating above 50 degrees C, cooling below -5 degrees C or storing in direct sunlight.

To access Leaderfins warranty service you must provide proof of purchase.

Exchange or refund requests are accepted within two weeks from the date the product is received.
Shipping costs are not covered, i.e. in the event of a return, only the price of the product is returned.
Claims are accepted on new products only free from damage and scratches.
Leaderfins products are durable, but not indestructible.
